Let’s get to know each other! My work is so deeply personal, it’s only fair you should know a little more about me too.

TRUTH
Give me your ordinary moments and mess—it’s the sign of days well-lived. My work tells the truth: showcasing moments of connection, helping to tell your story in ways you’ve never considered. I don’t manufacture beauty, instead my art-forward approach celebrates everything that’s already there. I grow with my clients, preserving the little things they’ll want to remember for a lifetime.

HOW I WORK
In my ten years of experience, I’ve realized where my passion and expertise align: weddings and family photos. To me, legacy photography isn’t about just one event. It’s a lifetime of thoughtful documentation.
/ WEDDINGS
Don’t miss a moment of this major milestone. I work with my couples to capture everything important from the first moments of getting ready to the hilarious dances at the end of the night.
/ FAMILY
There’s nothing better than watching my families expand and grow. Whether it’s a special occasion like a pregnancy or just documenting another year gone by, I love tailoring our time to what’s important to you.
MOLLY SLATER
Molly Slater is a New England-based wedding and family photographer. Through natural light and genuine connection, she aims to capture every subject’s most authentic self. Whether it’s a mother and child or a couple getting married, she believes that showcasing that connection is what makes for the most powerful photograph.
Molly started her business in 2011 after refreshing her craft through specialized courses at RISD, but her love of photography began in high school where she went through roll after roll of black and white film and spent all of her time playing with exposures and poring over negatives
in the dark room.
Molly lives with her husband and three daughters on a historic six-acre farm in South Kingstown, RI. When she’s not behind the lens, you can find her tending to her many chickens, training for a marathon, gardening, or baking something sweet or savory with her daughters, chili and cinnamon rolls anyone?
