One of the most important things to consider before hiring a photographer is fit. Here’s a little more about my creative process and what you can expect when you work with me. I value communication and connection, so if there’s anything you don’t see here feel free to ask!

APPROACH

/ NATURE

Natural settings offer so much texture, color, and richness to my photography. Allowing people to interact with nature lends a timeless feel as well.

/ MOTION

Instead of posing my subjects, I prefer to capture action. A gentle touch, a splash, a laugh, it infuses every photograph with life and memories.

/ LIGHT

Playing with shadows and light, along with timing my shoots to capture that golden hour glow just makes everything and everyone more beautiful.

/ FLUIDITY

Keeping scheduled shoots, or even weddings. loose and slightly unstructured allows for the unexpected. Sometimes that’s when the most beautiful image emerges.

  • Be as detailed as possible! I will reach out within 48 hours with my welcome and pricing guide.

  • Let’s get to know each other and see if our personalities are a fit. Bring any details, questions, or concerns.

  • Both of these items are required to book the date. I don’t hold your date until I receive your signed contract and your deposit.

  • I schedule your engagement session if requested. Several months ahead of the wedding date I send a questionnaire, create a detailed photography timeline, and compile a formal shot list.

    Thirty days prior to your wedding date, your remaining balance is due.

PROCESS

  • You invest in me- I invest in you. We (or myself and your planner) determine the number of hours that is going to be best suited for your wedding day upon initial inquiry and a custom quote is then created based on your needs.

  • Engagement sessions are always a good idea. They typically take place in Rhode Island, but travel outside of Rhode Island is available for an additional travel fee and discussed case by case.

  • Photography for your rehearsal dinner or welcome party is one of my favorite parts of the wedding weekend. Majority of my clients who book also book coverage for the night before- its’s when the official fun begins!

  • My favorite part of the editing process, let’s work together to curate your favorite images.

  • We discuss locations. If you have a setting in mind, like the beach, a field with tall grasses, or a scenic backyard, I suggest some options. All of my family sessions take place in Rhode Island, but custom quotes are available for clients outside of Rhode Island. Documentary sessions are subject to a travel fee if they’re outside of Rhode Island.

PROCESS

  • Family Sessions are designed for one immediate family unit i.e. Parents and Children. I do not offer extended family sessions at this time. Please feel free to request 2026 pricing via my contact form!

  • Ideal for a newborn with their family and lasts approximately one hour.

  • Molly Travels throughout the year and announces her travel dates each Spring. You can find her most up-to-date travel schedule HERE.
